Welcome to our church

Ojota Church of Christ is not a part of any denomination. Rather, we are a body of immersed believers who renounce human doctrines, creeds and affiliations.

We believe that Christ is the church's owner and head (Acts 20:28; Eph. 1:22-23). Members of the church are called and added by the Lord (Acts 2:47).
 
The church practices the essential elements of New Testament worship, derived from the New Testament Scriptures. It is called by the same names that were used to describe the people of the Lord in apostolic days. The only unit of organization of Churches of Christ is congregational.

We are a small group of believers that love God’s Word.
 
In 1998, three members of Ikeja Church of Christ - I. S. Akpan-Afaha, Felix Ekamen and Bokime Bassey made a proposal to the church to plant a congregation of the Lord’s church in Ojota.

In 1998, members of Ikeja Church of Christ who lived within Ojota district of Lagos State made a proposal to the church to plant a congregation of the Lord’s church in Ojota.

Brother Odama Dominic Inaku is the serving Minister in the Church of Christ. Ojota, Lagos
Bro Odama Dominic was born in Okuku village, Yala Local Government Area of Cross River State, Nigeria to the family of Brother and Sister Odama Ariku Sylvester on the 19th of September, 1986. 
He is the 9th child and the 3rd son of his parents.
