He attended Roman Catholic Mission Primary School in Jos between 1994 and 2000. Thereafter, he gained admission into Government Secondary School Kufang also in Jos Plateau State.

 

He was baptized into Christ on the 8th of September, 2002 by Bro Amu Godwin at the Church of Christ Anglo-Jos, Jos Plateau State Nigeria, where he presented his first sermon in December 2006 titled "You are the Salt and Light of the World" from Matt 5:13-16.

 

Bro Odama Dominic has special call to the Christian ministry and has a strong passion for teaching. In his crave to serve the Lord, he went to the School of Biblical Studies Jos, an affiliate of the University of Jos where he obtained a Certificate in Mininstry in 2008 and a B.A in 2014 in Biblical Studies and was trained as a gospel preacher. In 2016 he obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the National Open University of Nigeria.

 

He is a member of the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT) and a registered member of the Teachers' Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).

 

He has served as Minister at The Church of Christ Anglo-Jos (2006 - 2014) and the Church of Christ Igbogbo (2014 - 2020). He serves as a Bible Instructor (Lecturer) with the Institute of Biblical Studies (IBS) Lagos, an affiliate of Sunset Bible Institute Texas USA (2018-Date). He has resumed appointment as Minister at the Church of Christ Ojota with effect from April 1, 2020.

 

Bro Dominic is married to Edna Eyo and the union is blessed with a son, named Iyowo Anderson Odama.
